Barcelona and Leeds United today completed the exchange of strikers A_Smith and J_Saviola. It is also rumoured that Barcelona paid a 1.2 million supplement to get the deal through. Both players are expected to start this weekend's fixtures.

LUCIO DEAL CONFIRMED
Brazillian defender Lucio's move to Inter Milan was today completed for a fee of 1.5 million. Inter chief Adam Asghar commented on the signing exclusively saying "he is a great ball playing defender but never sherks a tackle and will bring great quality to the inter defence"
BIG TRANSFER NEWS!!
Leeds United manager Chris Cannon has once again dipped into the transfer market after completing two seperate deals earlier today. In his first swoop, Cannon swapped Aussie star Harry Kewell for Inter Milan's new recruit Denis Rommedahl and Argentinian striker Gabriel Batistuta. Then followd that good news with the signing of Brazilian Superstar Rivaldo in exchange for Italian Demetrio Albertini and 2 million from AC Milan.

TRANSFER KITTY'S INCREASED
Chairman Sean Cookland has today sanctioned a 2 million increase in each club's transfer kitty, meaning each team starts with 7 million now, not 5!!!
